Mzansi Insure

“Practical cover for the things you've worked hard for.”

Motor, home, business and agricultural insurance — plus Gap Cover that works alongside any medical scheme, including Mzansi Health's.

Overview

What Mzansi Insure does

Mzansi Insure covers what people and businesses have worked hard for — cars, homes and personal belongings for individuals, and buildings, stock, equipment and legal liability for businesses, including specialist cover for farmers. Cover is often bundled in automatically when someone takes out a home loan or vehicle finance through Mzansi Bank.

Clients can arrange cover through a Mzansi Advisors financial adviser, directly online or by phone, or through an independent broker. Mzansi Insure also provides Gap Cover, which works alongside any medical scheme — including Mzansi Health's — to cover the shortfall between what the scheme pays and what a hospital or specialist actually bills.

What we offer

Cover for what you own, personally or in business

Full product detail lives on the Personal and Business sections of the site — here's the picture of both, in one place.

For businesses

Cover for business assets, liability and agricultural risk, including crops and livestock.

  • Business Assets & Liability Insurance

Gap Cover is sold here, not by your medical scheme. Medical schemes are restricted by law from selling gap cover directly, which is why it's offered as a short-term insurance product through Mzansi Insure instead — available to members of Mzansi Health or any other registered medical scheme.
How we fit together

Insurance works better as part of a plan

  • Bundled in at the point of finance. Taking out a home loan or vehicle finance with Mzansi Bank often comes with the option to add cover from Mzansi Insure at the same time.

  • Gap Cover complements Mzansi Health. Members of Mzansi Health, or any other registered medical scheme, can add Gap Cover to close the shortfall between scheme rates and actual specialist bills.

  • Commercial Insurance works alongside Business Assurance. Mzansi Insure protects a business's physical assets; Mzansi Life's Business Assurance protects it against losing a key person — most businesses with more than one owner need both.

  • Safe driving counts toward Mzansi Rewards. A telematics-based safe driving score earns points and can reduce your motor insurance premium over time.
