Common questions

What happens if I withdraw money?

You can withdraw at any time, but the contribution room you've used doesn't come back — withdrawing doesn't reset your lifetime limit.

Can I have more than one TFSA?

Yes, but your combined contributions across all providers, not just Mzansi, count toward the same annual and lifetime limits.

What happens if I contribute more than the limit?

SARS charges a 40% tax penalty on any contribution above your annual or lifetime limit, so it's worth tracking contributions across all providers.

Already have a TFSA elsewhere?

An adviser at Mzansi Advisors can check your total contribution room across all providers before you invest further — at no extra cost.
